So much for lazy, we were up early so we would be ready to go our for breakfast – about 45 minutes early – o well.
This morning started out overcast, and looking like it might rain – but since noon, the clouds have cleared away to reveal the bright blue sky – ya!
After breakfast we wandered to a big Target store to wander around, and grab a “crappy frappy” at Starbucks. From there we wandered back to the apartment for a bit, before deciding to go to Sloughhouse ( farmers market – roadside fruit/veggie stand) to get some fruit and veggies. And pick up some wasabi peanuts to clear the sinuses.
There wasn’t much to be had at Soughhouse, becasue of the cold wet spring. The guy there said they wouldn’t have much for about another month, then things would be jumping. We stopped at a little roadside stand and bought some cherries – very good. Then we bettled on back to the apartment, to have a snooze by the pool – just what vacations are made for.
Later we might test our luck at one of the nearby casinos.
