It was 94F today, so we were not out by the pool for too long. The wind is blowing again today, about 30 mph, so there are leaves and stuff in the pool.
We pulled “herman” the mechanical pool cleaner around to the spots that had the most debris, and got out the net and cleaned up the pool. Then we had a short political discussion with one of the residents of the complex, about the state of the gulf and the oil spill. We didn’t solve any of the problems, but it is always nice to talk politics around the pool.
We had a great meal at noon today, pork chops in mushroom gravy with potatoes and oinons – o so good, and a little red wine to help wash it all down.
Then a trip to the book store to see if there is anything new – nope nothing new. So we made a stop at Wing Stop to get some hot wings for a snack for later.
A nice slow day, I might be able to get use to this retired living……. ha, when I get home, life will speed back up again.
