Up early and waiting. Off to Lake Balton. I got car sick, had to take gravol for the first time this trip, then of course I went to sleep. We stopped in a little village, becasue my cousin had a meeting there. The church was on the hillside above the town. Took lots of photos.
Then off to the lake, we wandered down the streets and had langos, kinda greasy. Then off on a little train ride through the town – it was cold, I didn’t have ny vest on. Then into the car and off to somewhere further down the lake. The lake is 120 km long, so there are lots of places to stop and wander.
We went down some very narrow streets and finally stopped by some open shops. I bought a scarf, Carole, wheeled and dealed, told them that their proces were twice that of Eger.
We stopped and had lunch at 2, goulash soup and bread. I will miss the bread when I go home. Then off up the volcano to vist some pincas and take photos of the view.
Had some “most” the grape juice from freshly squeezed grapes, have too much and you are in the bathroom. Then off back toward home. We stopped in another little village to have some beer at a pub that makes their own. It was very smooth.
And the final stop before we got to where we were going for supper was for ice cream – not bad. We finally got to another cousins for supper, and I was so full I could hardly eat anythng.
