A leisurely start to the day. We didn’t get out and about until about 11. Went to the book store to browse and check out the new stuff. Then back to the trailer for lunch. We wandered out again to go to west Sacramento and got to a couple of sport stores, looking for cleats.
We made a stop at the grocery store on the way, we are getting ready for the drive back north.
At the second sports store I found some cleats, but no price tag. The clerk wandered the store then the computer and finally came up with a price, I wasn’t sure what she was going to say, but 19.99$ was a good deal. At home these are probably worth 100$ or more – sold!
Now to go meet the boys for supper.
Jimboys , at last – well probably the last unless it is better the second time. Not up to the standard that we are used to from this franchise. The veggie burrito had felt as heavy and looked as big as before, but instead of grilling it, I think they microwaved it, so it was “gluey” and filled mostly with beans. Not good at all.
Of course we had to make up for that poor supper, so off to Vics for ice cream. The lineup wasn’t out the door, so in no time we had very good ice cream.
The sky was looking weird when we came out. Rolling, swirling puffy looking clouds and coloured because the sun was setting. I took a couple of photos with ice cream dripping all over my hands. As we drove down the freeway, it got worse, there was lightning and thunder. I didn’t have my camera with me, only had my cell phone so I didn’t catch any of the lightning, but I got a couple of decent cloud shots. It didn’t rain, just threatened, and the clouds moved south quickly, and it was over.
Back to the trailer for the night.
