Have camera will travel

So far we have been driving in rain or cloudy skies. Today looks promising for blue sky.
The drive yesterday down through Washington and about half of Oregon was interesting. We picked a smaller highway, one that we have never followed all the way down.
There was not much along the way, small towns and a lot of cows. We went through a couple of scenic byways – which means lots of ups and downs and curves.
Beautiful county – lots of trees and meadows at the higher elevations. We stopped a couple of time to take photos. Both times it started to rain about 5 mintues after we stopped, so we didn’t stay long.
We got to Burns and decided to stop for the night. Found a small older motel that wasn’t a chain and pulled in for the night. We got free popcorn – ya!
They directed us to a Mexican restuaunt for supper. The food was great and I had a frozen glass for my Corona.
After supper we wandered back to the motel and settled in for the night.
