Have camera will travel

Nothing exciting happened overnight. Same kind of buffet breakfast. Away at 8 on the way to the arctic circle.
Same kind of drive this morning through trees. It seemed like everyone was sleeping.
We stopped for a pee break and we found some coffee mochas. That perked me up. Back on the coach and more trees.
We stopped at Oulu for lunch. At a open air market again. We picked a place that was cooking meat and fish on big cast iron pans. The guy gave me a taste test of moose balls – meat balls. So we settled for that place for lunch. We got moose balls, reindeer sausage, pork and chicken with potatoes, green beans and fried onions. Very good. The sausage was a bit greasy, I think because it was fried with a lot of grease.
Then I wandered around and took photos for the rest of the time. Hopped on the coach and away again.
Through more trees. A stop in the afternoon for a pee break and then away. We saw our first reindeer, standing in the middle of the road.
At the hotel and in our room by 4, a little rest and a jaunt to the store to get munchies and beer for the next 2 days. This is a 2 night stop – ya!
66.50 Latitude we are almost at the attic circle.
Across the street to the 24hr store to get munchies, some coke and some beer. Then back for happy hour. Our room this time. We discussed the day and decided we’ve had enough trees. The trees are getting shorter. We are almost into the attic circle. Tomorrow we will cross over and come back.
After happy hour we wandered down to have dinner in the hotel restaurant. Chicken with bbq sauce and chips – I don’t think that was very Finnish !!
We chatted with a couple from eastern Canada and we do have different politics. After supper I took some photos of the circular staircase. A little too dark but maybe one or two will be ok. I was taking a photo of a glass door with a design on it when a couple came by and wondered what the heck I was doing. I showed them a couple of the shits and the guy looks at me and says, “it takes all kinds”. We laughed and parted ways.
Back to the room to chill.
