Made it to Sacramento this afternoon.
The last 1 1/2hr was bumper to bumper traffic. I forgot how bad it can get. Even 2 hrs after we got here, the freeway is still backed up.
We stopped in North California this morning to take some photos at McCloud Lower Falls. Then we took a side road, probably a fire road and drove toward Mt. Shasta. Nice drive through big trees and no one.
Found an In & Out Burger place in Redding and had lunch. The fought traffic into Sacramento.
Went out for supper to Banzai Sushi – I didn’t have sushi.
Then back to the house to crash for the day.
