We went up into the Sierras today. Up 80 onto the historic highway 40 to Donner Pass and the Rainbow Bridge.
We hiked around beside the bridge and part way up to the Chinese wall. Then drove back across and up, got out and walked back down to the bridge.
Nice day, warm but not hot at 7000 ft.
On the way back we stopped at a farm to table restaurant. Good burgers and milkshakes. They also make great pies.
