Have camera will travel

Well not much new down here, it’s still warm and sunny, and the big fires are under control. The fires are not close to where we are, so we are safe.
We hung around the city this weekend, not straying too far from home. Today we wandered up to Grass Valley to Empire Mine and a stroll through their gardens. We had a picnic in the shade underneath huge Ponderosa Pine trees. After that we took the long way back to Sacramento, and ran into the I5 “Big Fix”, so we went east so we could go south – The big Interstate highway south (I5), is shutdown in one section to be fixed (hence the big fix).
Then into the pool to cool down. Then a discussion on the politics of California with one of the people that live in the building.
Tomorrow we are off to Mindin again, this time a day trip. I’ll take the laptop so I can use the free high speed internet – I am geting tired of dial up.
