Well last night was great. To be able to get off the plane and be in your hotel room with 3/4 of an hour was so nice. Thanks to my cousin for getting the reservation for me – I am very grateful.
We just hunkered down, wound down with a cold Canadian coke, the alcohol comes later today when I get home. Europeans do not appreaciate a cold drink, their ice seems to melt within a couple of minutes of putting it in a drink, if they even have ice. But the atmosphere was not as good as it has been for the last week. Having a drink in a hotel room in Canada doesn’t comapre with having a doubl express in the cafe in Montmartre with artists all around you. O I feel so worldly now 🙂
Anyway back to reality, we are sitting in the Vancouver airport, through security, waiting for the plane back home. We left the “starving artist” in Paris, painting like mad to get ready for her last show in the Latin Quarter.
