Have camera will travel

Well the day was good.
We decided to go shopping in town, to see what we could find. We wanderd the place, and drove to spots we hadn’t seen before in town. We got back to the hotel before lunch and decided to take a nap. We visited with some players before we hunkered down. I got about a 10 minute lay down, missed a couple of batters in the Tampa Bay Rays game, and the phone rings. A lady who played for us last year was playing at the diamonds we are playing at later. So we hurried, put on our gear, and went to the diamonds.
We watched a game, and then started to warm up, have a little hitting and fielding practice – we shouldn’t have. Our rover twisted her knee and is now out for at least today. We are still waiting for our last player to show up. She landed in Las Vegas at 2 our time, and had the shuttle driver drop her at the diamonds. She showed up in the bottom of the 1st inning of the second game.
As for the games……. we lost the 1st one 20 to 2 – very good team, who pounded the ball into the field, nothing on the infield. We lost the second game 13 to 2 (you see a trend here??) This time at least there was a little action on the infield. We made some good plays and had some brain farts on others.
O well we didn’t want to play in the A division anyway. So we went back to the hotel to get changed and go watch some of our coaches play later. A phone message said the time had changed, so we raced out to the car, and sped over to the other diamonds to catch the last of their game. They lost as well.
So by now we are hungry, so we piled in the car and drove to Applebees. Had a drink or two and a lot of food! and lots of laughs. Then back to the hotel, and ice down sore knees.
And tomorrow we start all over again.
