Well we had 3 games today, and the weather forecast was not good – 90% chance of rain.
It started off well, blue sky some clouds and sunshine. We lost all three games 🙁
O well, we had some good plays and some really bad plays. The third game we started in the rain and wind. But after the first inning the rain and wind stopped, but it was still cool, only about 60F.
I had a ball go off my foot in the first inning of the 3rd game, and limped off. It is swollen and a little purple. They said it sounded like the ball hit a bat – o goody. Ice works.
We wandered back to the hotel, and had happy hour in Al’s room. Then we scared the Outback resturant by making 2 different reservations for 15 people. We calmed them down and went for supper. The steaks were kinda raw, so about 6 meals got sent back. Mine was cooked, ya!
We have the schedule for tomorrow, we dont play until 12:30, so we can sleep in. We play another Alberta team. The weather is supposed to be better – I hope so.
Time for more ice on my foot.
