Up at the crack of dawn, about 8:30. Jumped in the car, attached Emily and we were off. We went to find High Force – a waterfall. Emily took us around in circles at one point, so we ignored her, and took off in the general direction. She recalculated her brain and took us straight to the waterfall. Gravel path down and around through some trees to the waterfall about 100 feet high. Looked like a mini Hells Gate, we took some photos, wandered around a bit more and then back to the car park and off to Raby Castle.
It started to rain when we got there. O well. Took an 1.5 hr tour of the castle and couldn’t take photos again. I took lots of the outside. We stopped at the stables tea shop and had soup and a sandwich. I had a fermented coke – tasted ok, so I bought 2 more.
Then in the car and off to find some free internet to upload some photos.
It has been overcast all day – no sun, just the rain.

Sorry to hear that you are not getting great weather – again – while you are there, Would have been great to have blue skies and sunshine. That’s what we are having here – supposed to be +30 or more all the rest of this week. Some great pictures you have taken – can’t wait to see some of the waterfall! Keep having a good time……………….
