What a great find. We ended up at an extended stay place. Individual units that are small trailers – but you wouldn’t know it. One bedroom place with all the amenities. Quiet, off the street in a gated community, so good security.
The drive down was uneventful, except at the border, the one guard and I exchanged slo-pitch stories – he had a broken nose from a foul tip off his own bat. The weather on the way down got progressively better and warmer as we came south. Right now it is +35 and blue sky no clouds.
We decided to stock up so off to the store to get eggs etc, and of course some beer. We also picked up supper, a gourmet veggie pizza loaded with veggies and garlic.
We are back at our little place getting organized and chilling out.
