Have camera will travel

A little cloudy when we got up this morning, and cooler. Off to the diamonds to play at 11:00.
We were home team as we finished higher after the round robin. We had to play a team that we have never beat.
We didn’t give them any runs in the top of the first, but we came out swinging in our half. And again in the 2nd inning. In the fourth, we faltered a little an were letting them score, when we had a rain delay.
About 20 minutes later we finished their half of the inning, we gave them 6 runs. We scored more in the bottom of the inning, and got them 3 up 3 down in the top of the 5th. It had started raining by then, so the ump called the game – we won!!! 14-8.
After the rain delay one of their runners at first had her hair go straight up like when you rub your hair with a balloon. There was lightning all around, but they didn’t stop the game.
So we packed up and went back to the hotel to dry out before our final game, but they cancelled the tournament. So we got 2nd !! ya!!
