Even though the date on this post says Feb 2, it is actually Feb 3 here.
Hello from down under. We arrived safe and sound and so did the bags. The flight was long, but the Air New Zealand crew were great not like the one from AC can be. We cleared the “biohazard” and customs area without a hitch – I guess they didn’t think that maple syrup was a hazard. Then onto a hotel shuttle, and off downtown to the hotel. Fantastic the room is ready for us at 08:00 what a plus, and our friends are waiting for us. It is about 16 and a little cloudy, with a forcast high of 24 – and no snow in the forecast.
Anyway time for a shower and then off to catch up with our friends and out to see the city.
