Have camera will travel

Day 1
Got to the airport early – as usual. The KLM checkin isn’t open so we sit in the departure section where there is nothing to do except wait.
KLM opened, so off we went hoping they wouldn’t weight the carryons – they didn’t. Then the trip through security, more barriers to go through an get our passport scanned 2 times. More hassle, everything in a tray, no sense of ha ha with the security, but we made it through without getting a “pat down”.
My suitcase needs to be trained better, it keeps falling over even though it has 4 wheels.
Now we wait to board.
Watched a big black cloud approach, hopefully we get off the ground before it hits.
And we are away without any lightning.
Uneventful flight. Had some kind of pasta for supper and then watched 2 movies. Lights out and tried to sleep for 3 hours or so. Except some guy coughed about every 30 seconds. Should have given him some Buckleys.
Landed early in Amsterdam and then had to wait on the Tarmac for a gate. It seemed we walked from one end of the airport to the other, but I don’t think we did. Wandered through and found the gate easily. Now we wait for the flight to Copenhagen.
And wait and wait. The plane arrived late because of low clouds. We sat on the plane for 1/2 hr then drove around the runways for about 20 mins – I had a nap.
Finally got into Copenhagen around 3, waited for our bags – we had to check one each as there wasn’t enough room on the plane fir all the bags.
Decided to get a taxi to the hotel.
Now to stretch out and lay for a bit.
Went for a walk, but didn’t get far, we were both hungry. Back to the hotel and into the bar. Expensive but good food.
Watched the sun go down from the room.
Time for bed after being up about 31 hrs with little sleep on the plane.
