Friday Didn’t get up that early, But made it in time to go for breakfast before we got the water taxi to Cocoa Beach at 10 o’clock. The ride over was kind of good, little bit bumpy in spots but better than driving on the road for 45 minutes. Once we got there we got our shoes back on and the guy showed us where to shop to get the best price, supposedly.
We shopped in the store and bought some trinkets, then wandered down the street a bit but decided it all looked the same and it’s really hot, so back to the beach and into the restaurant/bar to wait.
While we were there sitting at the table relishing are cold Coca-Cola’s, we had a little friend visit us. A small little cat, very friendly and wanted to drink my Coke so I told him to go away.
We caught an early water taxi back to the hotel. Racing along the sand so we didn’t burn our feet to get into the boat. Along the way we saw a school of yellow fin tuna feasting on sardines. These tuna weren’t that big, maybe a foot or a foot and a half long. Once back at the hotel we got changed into our suits and decided to go for lunch. More fresh pico de gallo and guacamole and chips. Really big lunch. Oh and there was flan for dessert. Over to the pool we went, looking for some lounges in the shade. We found a couple by Diego and Juanita (Derrick and Joan from Vancouver). We told them about our Nicaragua trip. Then into the pool to get cooled off and listen to some drunk guy yell at a bunch of other drunk guys that were 5 feet away from him. I guess that’s what happens when you have an all inclusive and all the booze you can drink.
We settled down in the shade and had a chat with Joan, then tried to have a nap. A couple of Mojito‘s didn’t help. Back in the pool to cool off for a bit, then back on the lounges, got dried off, handed in our wet towels and got dry ones and up to the room. We will go for supper and then sit down in the outside bar and watch the entertainment for the night.
It’s a tough life but somebody has to do it, and we gladly volunteer.

Well that job would definitely suit you!
Sounds like you are having a great time. Enjoy it! The cold from the east is moving west! Supposed to go down to -20 here tonight and get colder. Same in Edmonton I think plus a bunch of snow. Hopefully it will be warmer when you get back Enjoy!
