Feb 27

It didn’t cool down all that much overnight – at least what us North Americans would call a cool down. It will be about 32 today. We are going off to Victor Harbor.
I posted a couple of photos from yesterday.
We wanderd off south towards the Harbor, with a stop at “Cheap as Chips” and Rivers Clearance Centre. I found a pair of “pedal pushers” that I liked, but Vicki didn’t, so onward toward Victor Harbor where we found another Rivers, and there Vicki found the “pedal pushers” that she wanted.
Onward to Granite Island.
We found a parking spot, and then walked over to the island and wandered around it. Neat looking bolders, but no penguins, as they are out at sea, eating…. speaking of which… we are hungry.
For lunch we got take away from Victor Harbor Fish & Chip shop, and went to sit in the park and eat. After which we fed the sea gulls, even though there was a sign that said not to. Then in the car and off toward Cape Jervis. We drove through Deep Creek Conservation Park – looked neat. We stopped a couple of times, saw some kangaroos sleeping in the shade.
Drove back a different way, laughing most of the way. Had to stop for petrol, the car takes 45 liters, and Carla put in 44.5, so I guess we were on fumes. We got back without too much trouble, and the car was in one piece.
