Wednesday – practice day

I updated the blog and uploaded some photos this morning. Breakfast was the same, egss and bagels and waffles. Then off to see the cowboy shooting – that was neat. All the people were dressed up in cowboy gear. Everyone was so friendly, explained what was happening, and possed for photos.
Then back into town, to change into shorts, it is a little warmer today. Then out to Snow Valley Park.
More red rock, we went on a couple of short hikes, through red sand. The best one was Jenny’s Canyon. We walked ito a dead end canyon, with about 150 ft walls, cool!
On the way back in,we phoned Dorothy, and then met the rest at Walmart. We picked up sandwich stuff for tomorrow, since we wont have time for anything between games.
Then in Subway to get lunch. Back to the hotel for a little break, before we have a practice. It looks like, and smells like it is going to rain.
We met in Eric and Hazel’s room, and decided we needed a practice, so off to the diamonds. Vicki and I lead the warm up exercises – Bob would be proud of us. The two ladys from California were there, so we almost had a full compliment of players.
Then we warmed up our arms for a bit. The gilr’s college team was there also, so we didn’t get a diamond to play on, so we settled for the long grass. We took some grounders and fly balls, then a little infield – as much as we could in long grass.
Back to the hotel and got cleaned up and over to Eric and Hazel’s room again. We decided on pizza from 2 Fat Guys. Very good pizza, and then the boys and Dorothy were off to the managers meeting.
After they left we stayed down in the lobby, and played 31, and watched the yankees beat the Twins.
