Have camera will travel

We are safe and sound in Paris.
The trip from Vancouver was not a good one for me, I thought I had outgrown my motion sickness – not. I did not have a nice view of the bathroom on the plane. I am now carrying an airsick bag around with me for the day.
We arrived on time, and found our ride to the hotel. Nice place, very small, but we don’t plan on being in the room that much. The room is big enough for 2 single beds and a desk. Then the kitchen part is the hallway from the door to the beds. It is clean, and the the beds have down comforters on them – I can hardly wait to crawl in and sleep.
So Jan was here to meet us, what a great feeling to be met by someone you know. We went up to take a look at the room, and then out to have supper in a little cafe, just down the block.
You know you are in Paris, when the waiter comes out onto the street to talk you into coming to his resturaunt. Our first friend in Paris – Gino.
We sat and chatted, and took photos of us and the food. As we were sitting there we had a short rain shower, just enough to wash away the smoke smell. It is still the thing to do in Europe, smoke.
And now back at the room, I think I need a shower and a long sleep.
