Have camera will travel

We are alive and well and living in Vegas.
The drive from Butte was uneventful except for a cat, which is now deaf and has no wiskers. We were bombing along at a cool 80 mph, when this cat decides to cross the road – I know there is a joke here somewhere. She is half way cross and oblivious to this onrushing car. I slammed on the brakes, laid on the horn, and headed for the shoulder.
Missed her by that much! And I know it was a female cat because it was a calico (white with black and orange markings). I looked in the review mirror and there she was sitting on her butt and shaking her head. She got to her feet and continued to cross the road.
The rest of the drive was uneventful. We stopped in St. George to get gas, and continued on to Mesquite. We stayed at the Virgin River Casino. After we checked in and checked out the room, we headed for the buffett – prime rib.
On the way to the buffet, we stopped at 1 slot machine, and made money to pay for supper. The buffet was good – especially when all I had to eat was a bun with meat and cheese and a Mcdonalds breakfast about 10 hours ago.
After supper, we gave all the money back to the casino.
On Sunday morning we had the breakfast buffet, gave the casino another 20$ and headed for Vegas – ya baby!
We wandered in Vegas about 11 am, and headed for the Outlet mall to do a little shopping. After that we headed to the strip to find our hotel. We are staying at the PH Towers. Found the hotel and found the road to the airport, on to Frys. I need some blank dvds.
We ended up at Mandalay Bay to loose more moeny and get info on the airport, what a huge airport.
Figured out where to go to pick up the relatives.
What an amazing airport and only 4$ to park – way cheaper than the Edmonton airport. Found the relatives, and off to the hotel. The usual stuff with getting all the luggage in and the car parked.
What a view we are on the 51st floor – wow! Now lets go find supper. We went to Yolo Mexican Grill. Good food. Now onto the strip and meander down the street.
This is the first time I have walked down the strip at night. Usually we bomb in find a hotel and stay in that casino. Got some photos with the iphone, I was too lazy to carry my camera tonight – after carrying it all day. We dodged people up and down the street and made it back to the hotel around 1 am. Now to settle down and get some sleep.
