more Vegas – Monday

We got up around 8 and slowly got ready. And off we went to the Outlet mall. We had some food, and then wandered around looking in all the stores. 3 hours later we drove back down the strip to find Fry’s. Carole enjoyed finally getting to see my favorite store.
About 4 pm we wandered back to the hotel to have a sit down. About 7 we drove over to Rio to go to the seafood buffet – there was a long lineup – good thing – we noticed that it was 40$ a person. I really didn’t want to spend 40$ on seafood – we decided we didn’t need wait for seafood.
We wandered over to Pablo McFadden’s – Irish pub. Everyone was watching a NFL game and cheering. The food was ok, the atmospere was nice. After supper we lost some money in the casino and decided to leave.

We drove down the strip to the “old Vegas”. Fremont street. What an experience. The street is a walking street, and covered with a LED screen for a couple or 3 blocks. Live band on the street, street performers and strange people dressed up. There was one guy that just had “tighty whiteys” on, and cowboy boots, and a pair of six guns and a cowboy hat. No woman went near him.
There was a zip line down the street – so off we went to step of a parking garage 70 feet in the air, and ride down a line to the other end. It was a great ride. We lost money in the casions here too.
Another late night. We got back to the hotel about 1 am. A good day – I still have money.
