Wednesday is move day…

Up early – 6 am.
We got ready, packed the car and had a little something to eat. Then on the road again.
Back to Vegas and to the airport to drop off relatives.
The last week has been great, hanging out with relatives, wandering around Nevada, Arizona and California. Checking out new things, loosing money. The Hoover Dam was probably the biggest thing I’ve seen. The dam tour was great.

The weather has changed. It is now overcast and a little windy. It was overcast and cooler, only 70 on the way into Vegas. It was very windy there, and cooler, not even 70 ! After the stop at the airpost we headed off for St. George.

We stopped at the reservation to pick up some cheap kalauha, but no luck, they only had very big bottles or the flavored kind. So onward without booze. We shouldn`t have stopped. We got caught behind a big rig fire on the interstate. What a fire, lots of black smoke and police and fire trucks. They had both sides of the freeway blocked off. We sat for about 45 minutes. When we drove past the truck, there was nothing left of the cab, burnt to the ground almost. The rest of the trip was uneventful, except the wind and rain all the way.

We went straight to the Dixie Center and registerd for the games, then to the hotel and bother the rest of the team. We had a team meeting, then picked up some pizza from our favorite place – it is still great pizza. We sat around and talked about the rules and laughed and joked with one another.

Tonight will be an early night. »Tomorrow we play 3 games 11:10, 12:30 and 4:30. And there is a 90% chance of rain – 🙁 o well we shall see.
