We went back the way we came looking for a huge waterfall that we missed. Found the black church by the sea, then found the waterfall. Neither of us could figure out how we missed it.
We raced back to the hotel, and went for supper. Wow a great meal. Ritzy place, this will set us back a few $$$. Talked to the waiter who just arrived from England. He loves it here.
Back to the room, got our boots back on and out into the night – ha – its still light out, but snowing. We drive back toward the lava cave and stopped at an abandoned house then on to the lighthouse. From there we raced to the water to get some sunlight on the water, it wasn’t snowing here. Got some shots of waves and clouds on the volcano.
Made our way back to the hotel. Even though we spent a bit of time in the car we are pooped. Hopefully the phone won’t go off at 2am tonight.
