Slept in a little, we almost weren’t up when Heather left for work.
We have decided to have an easy day of it. Just laze around. Ross showed us the video of the Kokoda Challenge that he has been in the last 2 years. 96 k’s along trails, and his team did it in just over 18 hours – that is fantastic. He might not go in it this year, as their trip is only 1 month after the Challenge, and he doesn’t want to wreck himself for the trip.
We had a sandwich for lunch started to pick some photos for Heather and ROss. After a bit it was time for the pool. We stayed in there for a couple of hours. Their neighbor was over to visit again, so another round of conversation of how work is a 4 letter word.
Then off to the COnrad hotel for supper at the Asian resturant. Good food, and then of course to the casino to loose some money. Heather entered hername in for a draw for a slot tournament. Her name was one of the 8 drawn, so she got 10 minutes on a slot machine – she was in the lead to begin with, but then some guy got a big bonus, and then she picked up again toward the end. But there was one guy in the feature mode when the time was up, and it kept going for at least a minute, and that guy came out the winner. Heather got 50$ for trying – ya. I lost 10$, Vicki lost a bit more.
Then back to the house to play some more crib – no spiders walked in on us tonight.
