Back from the Sand Dunes

Hi all,
we are back safe and sound from the wilds of Saskatchewan. We wandered the area around Leader and Septre. We walked on the sand dunes, almost got blown off Checkerboard hill – wow! – the wind must have been gusting to 60 or 70 mph.
We spent 3 days just driving slowly (Saskatchewan highways are mostly gravel) up and down and all around, taking photos when and where we wanted too. We saw a couple of great sunsets, there were clouds on the horizon for the sunrises, so we didn’t have to get up too early.
The red sunsets are around Checkerboard Hill. The sunsets with the elevator were taken in Prelate.
The river is the South Saskatchewan. The old stove is from a sod house in Johnston Park by Smiley.
