Have camera will travel

A beautiful start to the day. Out the door and on the road to the moors. Because the day was so good, Dylan decided to take us to the moors and look for DartMoor wild horses. The drive down the back roads was exceptional. Very narrow roads, I don’t know how Steve manages, usually with inches to spare.
We made a stop to see the Clapper Bridge – an old drover bridge. The day was great, big puffy clouds, lots of blue sky. Lots of green grass and sparkling water. Also the ice cream that we got at the small store helped. We continues up and across the moors, spotting lots horses along the way, but no where to stop. We finally found a spot and everyone hurried off the coach.
There were about 6 horses and one foal. The scenery was great, and the temperature was warm – for us – still cold for the Aussies. I squatted down to take a photo showing the water (puddle) in front of me going up through the moor and into the sky. One of my group came over and said that they call that water a puddle. I said yes, but look at the sky and cloud reflections. One of the other guys, said wow and took a photo with the reflections as well.
Onward to Polperro, a small Cornish fishing village, with only a few touristy things. We walked down the hill and through the town to the docks, then wound our way through all the little side streets back up to the coach. We grabbed a sandwich and sat beside the street people watching.
The we back tracked to Looe. This is also a Cornish fishing village, but geared toward family vacations. There was a sand beach, but way more tourist stores. We wandered the streets, but Polperro was nicer. Back on the coach and off to Plymouth.
We stopped in Plymouth where the Mayflower set sail. From there we drove back to Exeter.
Tonight was our celebration banquet, only one more day of the tour. We have made some great friends. We had a good time tonight.
