Blue sky smiling at me, nothing but blue sky, do I see!!
Yes, we have achieved a blue sky, and we are off the the Blue Mountains, I think.
We will need sunscreen today, as we all got a bit of a burn yesterday.
No, I didn’t get any photos uploaded. I will see what I can do before we leave this morning (afternoon and yesterday for you)..
Ok, after a great breakfast of bacon & eggs & grilled tomatoes (all done on the bbq), I have uploaded some new photos.
Well I lied, we had a tour of the south beaches today – Bondi beach (where the shark attack was last week) and a bunch of others – no we didn’t go swimming.. A glorious day, blue sky and some clouds about, and +28. We had a drink at the Bondi Iceberg, then wandered on to find a smaller beach and some lunch. The lunch consisted of a “beef” burger (I doubt there was much beef, just a lot of filler), which was huge. We sat and looked at all the pigeons and seagulls just waiting for us to leave, so they could get our crumbs. Then onward to other beaches.
We got back to the house around 5:3), and more cold beer to taste.
Again, not photos, maybe later, it takes a while to upload them, when you don’t use picasa.
We had a barbie tonight – steak, lamb with mint & rosmary sausage, and kangaroo kebabs, and of course salad and potatoes. We sat outside on the deck to eat, and then talk and laugh for a while. The kangaroo was very lean, and tasted good. More beer to chase down supper.
