Yesterday we wandered about the delta on the flood plain in a bird santuary – not much to see, a couple of trees, lots of dried up wild flowers. We could hear lots of birds, but didn’t see many except 1 hawk and a few white cranes.
We are not doing too much, just wandering about town, running errands etc. Sitting by the pool when we get a chance.
Tomorrow we are going on a short trip into Nevada and the Sierras. We will drive down to Mono Lake, to try and catch the sunset. We’ll wander around the Sierras tomorrow and Friday and then be back in Sacramento late Friday. Should be interesting.
