Today, we took off for the Sierras. We drove through Lake Tahoe, stopping for Starbucks.
Then off up and over the mountains and down to Mindin. We got the last rtoom at the Carson Valley Inn.
Vicki and Francis went off to gamble for a bit, and I had a nap.
Then off down to Mono Lake to catch the sunset. We got there just in time to catch the sun on the water,
but it wasn’t anything spectacular

On the way back I stopped just ourside of Bridgport and took a few photos of the valley.
The sun was getting low. Back in the car and off, I came to a screeching halt just norht of Lake Topaz.
Wow ! What light!, we stopped for 15 minutes or so and I snapped a bunch more photos.
