Around Sacramento

Saturday we didn’t really get up late, but we were in slow mode, and as a result we didn’t get out and about until around 10. We took some digital images to the drugstore to get printed. Waited around from them to be done, all of a half an hour.
Then to Fry’s for a last check for mini speakers for the ipod. Made quesadilla’s for lunch, and so far the best salsa I have made in a long time. It is amazing what salsa tastes like with really fresh ingredients – amazing.
And into the pool for a while. The water is getting colder now, as the air temp is only around 80 or 81 degrees, slightly cooler then normal. We went to Tahoe Joes for supper, a steak house. The food was very plentiful who knew a 10 oz prime rib was sooo big !
And on to play on the WII – it is kind of a neat game machine. Of course we played sports, and of course we won.

Sunday, we wandered out early. South of Sacramento, the fog rolled in, and we found a really neat barn, with cows wandering around. Got a couple of good shots, then on to drive around on the levees. And of course we wandered out the Thunder Valley to see if our luck was still holding – it wasn’t. Then the best part of the day – we went to JimBoys for lunch – man what great food from a fast food joint.
