O man it was cold on the canyon tonight.
So after our High Noon session, we hurried back to the room, and changed to get ready for our night run out to the canyon.
Back to the lodge for supper – Italian night – good pasta.
Then in the cars and off to Canyon Land Park again, this time we are going to the farthest lookout.
And welcome to an Alberta spring – it was snowing a little, and raining as well and windy too. We wandered around took some shots and then settled in one spot to wait for the sunset. We were by ourselves until the sun started to get low, then the rest of the gang appeared out of the woodwork, but we held our ground, and no one got in front of us.
The sunset like the sunrise yesterday didn’t turn out too well, but we got some good shots anyway.
The sun went down, and we rushed back to the cars and turned on the heat. The outside temp according Ron’s car was 39 degrees F – just like what we left at home – drats.
So an hour drive back to the lodge where we rushed to the room, downloaded our images, and rushed back to the main lodge for our critiques, only to find out it was late, so they cancelled it until tomorrow.
The bad news is we are still going out to Dead Horse Point tomorrow morning for the sunrise, or thunder storms which ever we are lucky to get.
That means another early morning – 03:30 !!
But we have an early night, we should be in bed before 11:00 pm – o ya 4 1/2 hrs sleep!
