Back to Vegas we go. We decided to go to the Hoover Dam on the way. The navigator and myself read all teh signs and some how we ended up back in Vegas without getting to the Dam.
Plan B, off to find the largest scrapbook store in Vegas. We parked in the shade and waited and waited 🙂 Then off to Caesers Palace and to checkin. Of course we had to loose some money along the way. It is still hot, in the mid 90s in Vegas, hotter in Laughlin.
Elton John, and free drinks. Great concert, he sang for 2 hours without a break. Most of the old favorites, great show, nice and loud and lots of colour. Afterwards we wandered the strip down to Paris and went up the tower. A nice breeze at the top, and a pretty good view of all the lights on the strip and the rest of Vegas as well. We then wandered back to the hotel to find something to eat. We wanderd through the Forum Shops to the Chocolate resturant and had a bit to eat. The back to the casino and I changed a 20$ bill into 70$, so I quit while I was ahead (a least in the last hour or two).
