And away we go. Started off slow, traffic jam in Kelowna, took us 40 minutes to cover the same distance that it took us 16 minutes to cover on Friday. O well we are on vacation and have lots of time.
Easy peasy through the border and then looking for our hamburger joint in Oroville, but it is Memorial Day so it was closed. But in Tonasket we found something better – a Mexican restaurant – and o so good!
Back into the car and off we go, both of us are tired, so we won’t be going far.
Around 3 PM the people started to drive like crazy people, so it was time to get off the road. We found a nice looking hotel and parked for the night.
We got energetic after we lugged the stuff up to the room, so we went for a walk. Wind is blowing like crazy, and the traffic at the cross roads looks erratic, so we went back to the room.
A nice day to drive, sunny with clouds. We ran into some rain and then just before we stopped, so heavy cross winds. But all in all a good day to drive.
